The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 is a 2016 12-inch high-end Windows tablet hybrid that has received praise for its premium design, solid build quality, high-end features, and useful modular design. Lenovo offers a range of modules including a Productivity module which serves as an extended battery and provides extra ports for added connectivity. Others are a RealSense 3D camera module and a projector module. Users also loved the included keyboard cover and vibrant QHD display. However, while the modules add productivity, they come at an extra cost. Also, it faces major competition from the iPad Pro, and especially the Surface Pro 4, which runs Windows as well.
