The LeapFrog Epic 7-Inch is a bestselling 2015 7-inch kid’s tablet that received positive reviews for its customized OS designed for kids, ability to sideload apps, excellent parental control features, sturdy casing, and relatively better hardware than other kid’s tablets. However, it has a low quality display, its cameras are poor and the premium LeapFrog apps are quite expensive. All in all, with updated hardware and quick access to a longer list of kid’s apps, the Epic is a welcome change over its predecessor which seemed to lack a comprehensive app ecosystem. For the price, it’s a good tablet for kids to learn, play and safely browse the web.
