Pros

  • Small, compact and sturdy design
  • User-friendly kid-specific software
  • Versatile parental controls
  • Good value for the money

Cons

  • Average screen quality
  • Short battery life
  • Poor cameras
  • Slow perfomance

Bottom Line

The Kurio Xtreme 2 suffers a low resolution screen, average performance and unreliable battery life, but these shortcomings can be tolerable when you consider its good build, impressive software experience and best of all, its very friendly price tag.

The Kurio Xtreme 2 is a 2015 7-inch Android-based kids tablet that upon release received praise for its cool design and a small, compact and sturdy form factor. Parents who bought the tablet for their child were happy with the versatile parental control options provided by the software, as well as the adequate content for their kids and the fun, motion-controlled games. However, the tablet is plagued by short battery life and poor cameras. Criticism has also been directed towards the sluggish performance and the relatively low-quality display. The Kurio Xtreme 2 might not be the best Kids’ tablet out there, but thanks to its friendly price, any parent looking to strike a bargain will be very satisfied.
