The Apple iPad 2010 is a bestselling 9-inch tablet computer that received positive reviews for its elegant aluminium design, incredibly responsive display, long battery runtimes, good connectivity options including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and iOS operating system for running a variety of useful apps. Compared to the newer version, this first generation iPad does lack some useful features such as dual cameras, higher system memory and multi-tasking capabilities. Though the iPad 2010 isnt good enough to replace your average notebook, it is a quite a powerful machine for web surfing, video playbacks, ebooks, email and social media. If that is all a user wants then the first-generation model could be worth a look. However, for those who want faster processor, higher memory and a lighter model, the iPad 2 could be the right choice.

The Apple iPad is the first affordable tablet computer worth owning, but it won't (yet) replace your laptop.
