The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 SM-T713 8-inch tablet has received positive reviews for its improved Snapdragon 652 processor that delivers a good performance, the 2048×1536 (or 2K) Super AMOLED display and the responsiveness of the screen also received praise, along with the Multi Window feature and the 3GB of RAM, which makes multitasking a breeze. Furthermore, its lightweight and thin design also received a fair amount of appreciation. However, many found that in landscape mode, the 4:3 aspect ratio caused movies to letterbox, making the viewing area noticeably smaller. The Bloatware also received some criticism, along with its fairly average battery life. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S is a popular 2014 10-inch tablet that received positive reviews for its super-thin profile, outstanding Super AMOLED screen, powerful specs, an excellent battery life, and plenty of useful software additions. The iPad 3 is a bestselling 2012 tablet that was acclaimed by critics for it’s new high definition ‘retina’ display, high performance quad-core graphics processor, quality camera and lengthy battery life and a thriving app store. Setbacks included being heavier than the previous iPad 2 and slightly larger, a lack of expandable storage and limited connectivity without adapters. Some reviewers also felt iOS also lacked file control capabilities and iTunes was still too limiting in terms of file sharing relative to Android competitors.  Overall the iPad 3 was praised as for both it’s amazing engineering and value for money, continuing Apple’s legacy of premium tablets although some reviewers did note it was not necessarily a must have upgrade for all iPad 2 users.
